These tried-and-tested readers and workbooks have been developed by Josephine S. Chan MBE, who was headteacher at Greenwich Chinese Community and Mandarin School. With over 40 years of teaching experience, this curriculum has been carefully designed to teach children to read and write Traditional Chinese characters in Cantonese or Mandarin. Used by hundreds of children over the years, Ms. Josephine would like to share her graded series with children and families beyond her school!

This graded learning series works with a step-by-step approach, meaning you build your vocabulary as you go along. This approach is very suitable for beginners and non-native speakers who have no prior knowledge or experience with Chinese. There are a total of 93 lessons in the series. By the end of this graded learning series, you will learn 328 Chinese characters.
